So what happened here? With all that mytwitface business taking over the world it looks like it took over this site too...not... I'm just going to start posting here again and I totally don't care if anyone will read this or not. This site is coming site back from the dead for my personal enjoyment. I haven't played with recent web technologies so this will be an experiment. For the time being the only update is this posting but I plan on revamping it all, just for fun and for that reason only but watch out youtwitface!
So now back to the tray business and what it has to do with the website. Well nothing, absolutely nothing and nothing but the nothing. I just want the trays back! As an expression of my protest I only bought 6cans of beer from the LCBO today. I "manually" couldn't carry more than 6 cans easily as there are no trays no more! According to the lady on the counter they discontinued the paper beer can trays as they were too expensive. Great business strategy developed by monkeys. Apparently they thought people would reuse the trays but who did ever think of advertizing that? Something as simple as a sign saying "Please bring your tray next time", how hard is that? Or even better - "Reuse your tray and save". People like saving. People would save pretty much anything other than the environment as long as it has some dollar value in their benefit attached to it. So why did they discontinue the trays instead of selling them for say $1ea and putting that sign up? Well, yes, to save money...
